Hi! Iā€™m Alessandra.

I am a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder, pursuing a double major in Mathematics and Data Science. With nearly six years of experience tutoring math and physics, I am passionate about helping students build confidence and deepen their understanding of these subjects. I initially began my academic journey as a Physics major but quickly discovered that I love doing math, leading me to shift my focus and my major.

As someone who has personally navigated the challenges of traditional lecture-based learning, I have developed effective self-study techniques that have greatly enhanced both my careers as a student and as a tutor. I strive to share these strategies with my students, helping them not only grasp complex concepts but also develop a genuine enjoyment for the subject.

I have also worked as a grader for university-level math courses, giving me insight into how assignments and exams are evaluated. This experience allows me to help students structure their work clearly and effectively, ensuring they meet the expectations of their instructors.

Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time outdoors through activities like backpacking, skiing, and snowshoeing.
